Gunsight Bay. The view from camp on a windswept mesa high above Lake Powell. While I'd hoped for some clouds to add drama to the sky, this place is simply stunning -- even on a cloudless winter day. While I was making this image, my son was two miles away photographing desert bighorn sheep. The next morning brought clouds, wind, and a touch of fog over the water.
