Risks and obstacles emerge, and decisions made yesterday, today, and tomorrow will have a profound affect on future outcomes. Fairness and success is not guaranteed. But life, like time on a river, is an adventure. It can be beautiful, challenging, and cruel at the same time. Near the end one hopes that perseverance, calculated risk-taking, hard work and a dash of luck will open a navigable route and increase the likelihood of smooth waters near the pullout.
