An exciting morning with a few members of the Wapiti wolf pack this morning as they gathered near a mostly picked over bison carcass. It was a surreal scene (and tricky shooting) as the wolves moved through rising mist and steam created by hots springs in the area. At times the wolves were completely invisible, only to appear again like ghosts in the mist. Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. January 25, 2018.
