National Bird of Pakistan. With the longer days, I decided to venture out to Antelope Island after work this week in hopes of getting a nice sunset. The sunset wasn't extraordinary but I was able to photograph this chukar and a couple of large mule deer bucks. These hearty little game birds live in rugged desert areas and love rocky escarpments and steep slopes. They are native to the middle east and thrive in parts of Nevada, Utah and Idaho.
