Sitting in the cabin this morning as heavy rain swells the river and soaks the earth and lodgepole forest that surrounds us, my spirit is lifted looking back to this blazing sunset that occurred a few days ago along the upper Henry's Fork. I've said it before, but dynamic light and cloud structure over water may just be my favorite type of landscape to observe and photograph. Island Park, Idaho. Spring 2018.
