October Morn'. I didn't have high expectations for finding much vibrant fall color this morning. While there are some intense pockets, seems like much of our foliage in the northern Wasatch Mountains is on the downside. But with high winds predicted for today ahead of a winter storm front moving into our area, I figured we could soon loose a lot of what's remaining up there. So I dragged myself out of bed at 5 a.m. and ventured off to one of my favorite vantage points of Mt. Timpanogos in hopes of catching some dramatic light ahead of the storm. Sometimes it works out the way you hope it might, other times it's simply an adventure. Today was both. Grateful to live in such a beautiful place.<br />
